Key Responsibilities and Skills Include:
Content Calendar Ownership:
- You will own and manage the Carbon Responsible content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging content across LinkedIn, our website, and long-form assets like reports and case studies.
- Develop and activate content that aligns with Carbon Responsible value proposition, engaging potential leads and driving awareness.
- Ensure content is compelling, relevant, and resonates with our target audience to support lead generation and thought leadership.
Digital Campaigns:
- Working closely with the sales team, you will develop and execute strategic content campaigns to drive outreach across key digital channels, from email marketing to LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Collaborate with sales to align on messaging and target segments for highly relevant, personalized campaigns.
- Create integrated campaigns that engage prospects through email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms you identify.
- Develop nurturing campaigns that keep prospects engaged, moving them through the funnel with relevant, valuable content.
- Launch and manage remarketing campaigns to re-engage prospects and drive conversions.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Maximise conversion rates across our website by optimizing landing pages, user flows, and campaign funnels to deliver a seamless user experience. Increase our website traffic by 15% in the first 3 months.
- Maintain and analyse website analytics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and alignment with user intent.
- Provide the sales team with 20 SQLs per month.
- Increase inbound leads by 25% in your first 3 months.
- Leverage A/B testing to experiment with copy, design, and UX, ensuring we’re always moving towards higher engagement and conversion.
Performance Analytics:
- Track and measure key performance metrics, including CTR, CPA, CAC, ROAS, and lead conversion rates, ensuring that every campaign aligns with our broader business goals and delivers measurable impact.
- Use tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot to generate actionable insights that drive smarter decision-making and continuous campaign optimisation.
- Deliver clear, concise reports that communicate results and ROI to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of experience in B2B lead generation or demand generation roles, preferably in SaaS or climate/sustainability-focused companies.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimisation for AI search
- Confidence with CRM systems (we use HubSpot)
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven, results-oriented approach
- Grit, resilience, determination and self-starters

This new role provides an opportunity to the successful candidate to practically help businesses to become more sustainable and to mitigate climate change impacts through the measurement and minimisation of corporate carbon emissions.
Carbon Responsible was founded in 2012 to provide data driven solutions to carbon management, supported by expert advisory services. Our core focus is on the measurement, reporting, management, and reduction of corporate carbon emissions. We are a small and rapidly developing company based in London, offering a hybrid work environment.
Our key products are corporate reporting, supply chain and product analysis and the development of reduction programmes. We do not sell offsets but do advise our clients on their use and optimal product selection.
We work with a broad spectrum of clients within the UK and beyond. The nature of our work is sustained involvement with our clients to facilitate annual reporting and delivery of their reduction targets. Reduction support involves activities ranging from the enablement of renewable energy projects through to behavioural change and specialist products to deliver efficiency in transportation.
