ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a Growth Manager, whose primary responsibility will be to identify, engage and close new partnerships that support Fifth Ring’s growth aspirations around Europe.
Working alongside Fifth Ring’s BD Director, Regional/Managing Director and Marketing Manager you will lead the outbound business growth (development) activities and marketing qualified lead engagement, collaborate with Client Services and Delivery teams to build proposals and secure Fifth Ring’s perfect world clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside BD Director and Europe team lead in identifying new business opportunities in key industries
- Immerse yourselves in our target industries to understand trends, threats, opportunities and relationships
- Outbound BD activities to build relationships, nurture leads and lead consultative conversations, focussed on win-win solutions for our clients and Fifth Ring
- Work closely with Marketing Manager, lead exploratory calls with marketing qualified leads to establish core challenges and how Fifth Ring can support
- Collaborate with Client Services and delivery team subject matter experts, to deliver effective briefs and build compelling proposals aligned to answering client challenges, demonstrating the effectiveness and impact of our work
- Responding to appropriate tenders
- Attend networking sessions and events locally and regionally
- Manage the full cycle of new business process from prospecting to close
- Keep abreast of latest news and trends in the marketing and communications space
- Act as an ambassador for the agency’s values, people and commercial interests
- Work effectively with the Traffic Manager to ensure client requirements are being met
- Any other duties that may be assigned that are compatible with skills and experience

Experience:
- Understanding of and experience in creating and executing compelling communication in different forms and how to tell a compelling story to motivate and inform different stakeholders
- Experience and understanding of how to deliver comms in the modern omni-channel world
- Knowledge and experience in international communication is advantageous
- Experience in the B2B marketing environment is not necessary but would be beneficial
