iMultiply is recruiting a reporting accountant in Grangemouth, offering a varied role with close collaboration with senior management and clients. You will oversee monthly management accounts, VAT compliance, forecasts, budgets and assist with audits, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified (ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant experience.
• Experience in general practice and managing management accounts.
• VAT, cashflow, and financial controls knowledge.
• Proficient in Excel and Word for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Xero, Sage, or IRIS accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Ensure VAT compliance and oversee invoice and payment processing.
• Update forecasts, cashflows, and budgets.
• Support audits and statutory accounts preparation.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Utilise finance systems like Xero, Sage, or IRIS.
