Job summary

Manthorpe Building Products is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at the Ripley site. You will manage the production team, ensuring plans meet customer requirements while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency in a fast-paced plastics environment.

The role requires a strong background in injection moulding, a hands-on leadership style and the ability to drive continuous improvement across production processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production in a plastics/manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and equipment.
• Proven ability to drive improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Effective people-management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day production operation across the site.
• Lead, manage and develop the production team to achieve plans safely and on time.
• Drive improvements in OEE, productivity, efficiency and waste reduction.
• Work with Engineering and Maintenance to maximise machine availability and minimise downtime.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new injection moulding machinery.
