Distinct | B Corp in Coalville is seeking a Financial Controller to take ownership of the numbers, improve reporting and build a robust finance function in a growing SME. You’ll work directly with the MD and a small finance team, with external CFO support as the function evolves.

The role starts hands-on, with potential to progress to Head of Finance or Finance Director over time as acquisitions and growth continue. Flexible, office-based with a day working from home after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts, cash flow, reporting, margins and job costing.
• Background in engineering, manufacturing, services, maintenance, logistics or another operational business.
• Open-minded on qualification; focus on experience and ability to own the role.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the numbers and improve management reporting.
• Develop cash flow forecasting and monitor margins and job profitability.
• Turn data into clear management information for the MD.
