Job summary

Granola is hiring a Growth Engineer to sit across product, data, and marketing problems, identifying opportunities, running experiments, and building growth loops that feel native to the Granola experience. You’ll own activation, onboarding, sharing, and retention flows to turn first-time users into daily habits.

We value strong product sense, metrics discipline, and comfort moving fast in a startup environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in growth, product, or full stack engineering.
Strong product sense and user experience perspective.
Good understanding of metrics, success measurement and iteration.
Experience in a high-velocity startup or fast-moving environment.
Comfort across the growth stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, analytics and A/B tooling.

Responsibilities

Own the full growth experimentation cycle from spotting opportunities to shipping and measuring results.
Build and iterate activation, onboarding, sharing, and retention flows.
Partner with product, marketing, and data to surface growth levers.
Develop experimentation infrastructure (A/B testing, attribution, analytics tooling).
Translate data into practical product or engineering changes to improve outcomes.
Define success metrics, evaluate impact, and balance speed with judgment.
Shape how growth operates at Granola, including playbooks and metrics.
