Job summary

WPP Production, based in Greater London, seeks a Business Director to lead client growth, shape strategic direction and oversee complex production portfolios across the agency network. You will drive revenue, manage key relationships and guide multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, AI-enabled marketing world.

You will partner with the Global Client MD and Global Client Lead, delivering strategic messaging, ensuring delivery excellence and driving sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Client Services industry, working in a marketing, integrated campaigns/digital agency and/or consultancy environment.
• Proven ability to grow revenue through strategic and organic growth and meet financial targets.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Experience driving client satisfaction scores and turning around that metric.
• Ability to build partnerships across disciplines, networks and teams.
• Ability to write clear, cohesive client communications and strategic presentations with storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with GenAI, AI-enabled workflows and marketing technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive agency revenue growth across new business and existing clients.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with GCMD/GCL and ensure delivery excellence.
• Lead by example to create a culture of collaboration, inclusion and professional growth.
• Develop and implement client development plans, communications strategies and quarterly plans.
• Oversee profitability, budgets, and forecasting in partnership with finance and operations.
