What you'll be doing

As a Growth Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our lead generation and customer acquisition efforts. You'll be responsible for scaled-up outreach, using a mix of channels (AI tools, Linkedin, email, socials, events) to identify potential new clients and opportunities for growth. As part of this, we'll turn to you to design effective lead-gen experiments, including identifying different channels and tools to improve our hit rate and conversion. Your day-to-day will be hands-on and varied: one day you could be setting up a webinar to showcase a new feature, the next attending an industry conference. You'll work closely with the wider growth team to ensure we're consistently reaching the right people, with the right message, at the right time.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Lead generation & outreach: Plan and execute outreach campaigns to generate new leads and ultimately new customer wins. You'll build high-quality lists of prospects in our target segments then own the execution of outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn and other channels.
  • Experiment to optimise our lead-gen systems. You'll be responsible for our lead-gen systems and ensuring we can effectively assess their performance, so we can make decisions on what to adjust and improve. We'll turn to you for recommendations on what experiments/tools we should try next, and you'll be empowered to constantly trial new strategies.
  • Supporting sales process. You'll work with the wider growth team to ensure our systems and sales materials are set up for success. You'll contribute your learning and insights to refine our proposition and messaging to target segments, and help execute our campaign strategies, marketing plans and content. You'll help nurture nurture leads all the way through to running demos and winning deals.
  • Contribute to customer success. You'll get stuck into to new customer onboarding, help customers get value out of our quant and qual research platforms. You'll work with our customer success teams to driven retention and expansion.

Who you are

  • 1-2 years' experience in B2B sales, business development, growth or marketing ops
  • Effective communicator: verbal and written. You're comfortable thinking on your feet and able to be clear & concise in writing
  • You've got a big engine, you're very high agency, you love getting stuff done and working at pace.
  • Comfortable with data and metrics, and able to spot what's working vs what we need to change
  • Excited about experimentation (including AI!) and failing fast
  • You're naturally curious, inquisitive and analytical: you're always trying to understand the “why” behind numbers or ‘facts'!

Focaldata is an equal opportunities employer. We believe in the value of a diverse and inclusive workforce for our business, team and customers. We encourage all applications regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage, pregnancy, maternity, race or nationality, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

We also understand that certain groups may not feel empowered to apply unless they match every single requirement. Please do apply even if you don"t match 100% of every single requirement!
