About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and results-driven Complex Care Growth and Mobilisation Manager to join our Complex Care team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in expanding Cera's specialist complex care services by identifying, developing, and winning new care packages. You will focus on fostering strong, productive relationships with NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Local Authorities (LAs), case managers, and private clients to help drive our growth

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives on building strategic partnerships and who is adept at overseeing the mobilisation of new complex/nurse-led services. We expect this person to be willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and secure new complex nurse or therapy-led packages from initial opportunity identification through to successful negotiation and agreement, focusing on individualised care solutions.
  • Oversee and project manage the mobilisation of new care packages, working closely with internal operational, clinical, recruitment, and technology teams to ensure a seamless and effective service start-up.
  • Strategically identify and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Local Authorities (LAs), Continuing Healthcare (CHC) teams, and case management services to generate new care package referrals.
  • Develop and execute targeted regional business development plans
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date business pipeline, providing regular reports on activities, secured packages, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach materials that support relationship development and package acquisition.
  • Collaborate with our internal Tender/bid team

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in a business development team for a complex care-at-home company or team
  • Extensive experience and success in fostering and managing relationships with NHS ICBs/CCGs, Local Authorities, and case managers, leading to the award of new care packages.
  • A strong existing network of relevant contacts within a particular geographical area is highly advantageous.
  • Commercially astute with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets for new business and care package acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, particularly in the context of securing service agreements.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience in mobilising healthcare services.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role.
  • A full UK driving licence

General Company Responsibilities:

  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI): Employees are expected to promote and uphold the organisation’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion by fostering a respectful and inclusive working environment.
  • Health and Safety: Employees must ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies, and take responsibility for their personal safety and the safety of others.
