Job description

Build revenue. Shape the future of marketing for good growth.

We’re looking for an experienced Growth and Events Manager to drive new client acquisition for one of the UK’s fastest-growing marketing advisory businesses. You’ll engage senior marketing and transformation leaders, shape commercial opportunities and win strategic consulting and advisory engagements with global brands.

Responsible Marketing Advisory (RMA) is an expanding and successful high-growth, professional services marketing advisory business helping leading organisations and top brands such as Diageo, Mars, Unilever, TikTok, Meta and more, transform their marketing and media for real impact and good growth.

If you’re a hands-on dealmaker who enjoys the individual-contributor process of meeting new businesses and growing a pipeline, through to closing deals and turning relationships into long-term value, this is your opportunity.

If you’re ready to own growth, win meaningful business, and be part of a high-performing, ambitious team, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
  • Build and manage target lists across the UK and USA, using data to identify priority accounts and senior decision-makers.
  • Own warm outreach following events, introductions and engagement with content.
  • Deliver targeted cold outreach through email, LinkedIn and telephone conversations.
  • Qualify inbound enquiries and respond within agreed service levels.
  • Support internal and external events, owning sales activity before, during and after each event.
  • Convert event conversations into engaged leads, meetings and new-business opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities through HubSpot, ensuring every interaction, meeting and next step is recorded accurately.
  • Arrange meetings and brief subject-matter experts so they can lead effective advisory conversations.
  • Work closely with Marketing, sharing audience and prospect insight to improve campaigns, events and targeting.
  • Represent RMA confidently and professionally in conversations with senior marketing and business leaders.
What success looks like

You’ll be accountable for building a healthy, accurately managed pipeline and contributing directly to new-client revenue.

First-year targets include winning new clients and generating additional new revenue. Your performance will also be measured through outreach activity, engaged leads, conversion rates, meetings progressed and the quality of HubSpot data.

About you

You’ll bring:

  • A successful track record of generating new business through warm and cold outreach.
  • Experience gained in agency sales, recruitment, advertising, media or another relevant business-development environment.
  • The ability to build target lists and turn data into focused commercial action.
  • Experience using events to create and convert leads.
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders by phone, in writing and face to face.
  • Experience of multichannel outreach, including direct email marketing and LinkedIn.
  • A working understanding of the marketing, media or advertising landscape.
  • Experience engaging audiences in both the UK and USA would be advantageous.

You’ll be data-led but decisive: someone who uses insight to determine where to act and then moves quickly. You’ll also be resilient, persistent and energised by starting new conversations.
