Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a Grower Accounts Officer to support our trading and storage businesses by providing services throughout the full lifecycle of grower engagement, balancing efficiency and grower satisfaction. You will be part of the team expanding our digital communication services, managing contract services, and ensuring grower suppliers are paid correctly. The ideal candidate will have extensive internal and external customer contact experience via telephone, excellent customer service and communication skills, strong IT and digital communication skills, and administrative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with contract lifecycle administration, including follow-up, amendments, delinquent accounts, washouts, and system reconciliations.
  2. Assist with Title Transfers requests from growers.
  3. Handle inbound telephone calls from growers.
  4. Assist with grower warehouse stock inquiries, reconciliations between inventory and CRM systems, and report opportunities to Grain Merchants.
  5. Assist with grower debtors, including overdue follow-up and reconciliations.
  6. Calculate and process payments to growers.
  7. Conduct reconciliations across key IT systems.
  8. Participate in new system projects, conduct UAT, and assist in resolving issues.
  9. Create user and training documentation, such as Work Instructions, and conduct training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Maintain accurate account details, including account owners and primary delivery points.
  11. Keep contact details up to date, including mobile numbers, emails, and subscription preferences.

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  3. Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
  4. Strong administrative skills and task follow-through.
  5. Interpersonal skills and empathy to build relationships with growers and stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), AgTech tools, email marketing, and Microsoft Office.
  8. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Additional Information

  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector, especially the grain industry, is highly regarded.
