Job summary

Hilton in the United Kingdom is seeking a Groups Reservations Supervisor to oversee daily reservations operations for individual and group bookings, ensuring guest satisfaction and revenue goals. You will lead the reservations team, manage group blocks and inventory, support block execution and reporting, and maintain data integrity across reservation systems while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate and efficient handling of individual and group reservations to support guest satisfaction and hotel revenue goals
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and ensure high service standards through training, coaching, and quality checks
  • Oversee group room block setup, monitor cut-off dates and inventory levels, and ensure alignment with contracts and occupancy targets
  • Build and assign blocks, assist with rooming lists and billing, and verify checklist and resume accuracy
  • Support the generation of daily and weekly reports (e.g., Group Pickup, No-Show, Booking Channel Summary, Special Rate Plan Activity)
  • Ensure accuracy in reservation systems, including group masters, rooming lists, and special rate plans
  • Process reservation inquiries and updates, providing exceptional service to both guests and team members

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Supervise daily reservations operations: Oversee the accurate and efficient handling of individual and group reservations to support guest satisfaction and hotel revenue goals
  • Lead the reservations team: Provide day-to-day guidance and ensure high service standards through training, coaching, and quality checks
  • Manage group blocks and inventory: Oversee group room block setup, monitor cut-off dates and inventory levels, and ensure alignment with contracts and occupancy targets
  • Support group reservation execution: Build and assign blocks, assist with rooming lists and billing, and verify checklist and resume accuracy
  • Prepare key reports: Support the generation of daily and weekly reports (e.g., Group Pickup, No-Show, Booking Channel Summary, Special Rate Plan Activity)
  • Monitor data integrity: Ensure accuracy in reservation systems, including group masters, rooming lists, and special rate plans
  • Provide reservations support: Process reservation inquiries and updates, providing exceptional service to both guests and team members
