A luxury hospitality company is seeking a Sales Manager for Groups & Events in London. The role involves creating bespoke event journeys and driving sales in the UK and US markets. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales and polished communication skills. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure exceptional events and achieve revenue targets.
As Sales Manager for Groups & Events, you’ll focus on cultivating the UK and US markets - attracting high-profile corporate groups, social celebrations and events that reflect the House’s stature. You’ll be at the heart of bringing Cambridge House to life - not just as a hotel, but as a place where stories unfold, connections are made, and events become lasting memories. You’ll be instrumental in shaping how the world sees and experiences the House.
Create bespoke, memorable events journeys - from first enquiry to final farewell, you’ll craft tailored proposals that reflect our guests’ vision and the spirit of Cambridge House.
Drive group and event sales with a primary focus on the UK and US markets.
Lead proactive sales efforts, identifying new opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting interest into confirmed business that aligns with our brand and revenue goals.
Achieve and exceed group and event revenue targets, with clear metrics in conversion, market share growth, and repeat business.
Represent Cambridge House with elegance and confidence - conducting inspiring site visits, creating personalized proposals, and executing sales outreach with creativity.
Collaborate cross-functionally with our culinary, events, rooms and guest services teams - ensuring every event is flawlessly executed.
Develop and deliver clear, insight-led strategies using data and market knowledge to drive performance.
Champion operational excellence, ensuring all contractual and logistical details are precise, timely, and delivered with attention to detail.
3-5 years experience in group and event sales within luxury or upscale hospitality.
Pre-opening or launch experience is highly desirable, with the ability to drive business and build awareness before the property opens.
Polished communication skills - graceful in conversation, compelling in presentation, persuasive in negotiation.
Sales-savvy with a strong commercial mindset - great at spotting opportunities, building pipelines, and consistently meeting revenue targets.
Analytical, organised and detail oriented.
Collaborative and adaptable, with a natural commitment to service excellence.
Strong knowledge of London’s competitive luxury events landscape; additional international exposure is a plus.
