Job summary

A leading transport and logistics firm in Ballymena is seeking a Groupage Transport Planner to manage daily operations and liaise with drivers and customers. The ideal candidate will have groupage transport planning experience and excellent customer service skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role also involves preparing paperwork and ensuring efficient route planning for drivers.

Overview

MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our existing Ballymena client who are an award-winning transport and logistics company. Due to demand, they currently require a Groupage Transport Planner to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Groupage Team to manage and coordinate the daily operations of the company’s vehicles across the UK and Ireland, whilst liaising with drivers, sub-contractors, and customers.
• Help to assist in the planning of daily work schedule and routing for drivers
• Prepare electronic manifests & paperwork for drivers and/or sub-contractors.
• Liaise with customers and provide updates as required.
• Inputting data on to our Transport Management System.
• General Administrative Tasks.

Essential Criteria

• Groupage Transport Planning Experience.
