Job summary

JSS Tax are seeking a Group VAT Manager for a well-known travel company based in Hertfordshire. This in-house, permanent role focuses on VAT and indirect tax, offering hybrid working and a strong benefits package including a 20% bonus.

The successful candidate will own VAT affairs, work closely with the Head of Tax and lead a mix of compliance, VAT projects and advisory work across the group.

Qualifications

• VAT/indirect tax experience
• In-house tax experience preferred
• Strong collaboration with Head of Tax
• Hybrid working in Hertfordshire preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead VAT compliance work (review and preparation) and VAT projects
• Respond to VAT queries across the business
• Partner with the Head of Tax on indirect tax matters
• Provide general indirect tax advisory support and business partnering
