Job summary

A leading recruitment firm seeks a Mid‑Senior level professional to manage tax compliance and reporting. The role involves preparing group tax returns for UK and US entities, reviewing VAT returns, and assisting with tax risk and governance. Candidates should hold ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualifications and ideally have broad experience across direct tax, including some exposure to international matters. This is a full-time position located in London, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Open to those moving in‑house for the first time from a Big 4/Top 10.
• International matters experience is beneficial.
• Indirect tax experience helps but not mandatory.

• Oversee monthly VAT returns and quarterly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing tax compliance and reporting across the group.
• Preparing group tax returns for the UK and US entities.
• Reviewing tax returns from various global subsidiaries.
• Reviewing monthly VAT returns and taking full ownership of the quarterly reporting process.
• Supporting the Head of Tax with international tax issues such as WHT, Transfer Pricing and Pillar 2.
• Assisting with tax risk, governance and audit issues as and when they arise.

Qualifications & Experience
