Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Surveying Manager to join our team within Vistry Services. This position is flexible regarding location, but travel across specific business units covering West Birmingham & North West regions is required. As our Group Surveying Manager, you will provide independent Commercial Assurance to the Group through data analysis and participation in Regional monthly CVR meetings. You will also support Divisions & Regions on commercial processes, systems, onboarding, and risk analysis.

  • Extensive Construction Industry experience
  • Previous management experience as QS or Commercial Manager
  • Knowledge of building regulations and legal obligations

About the role
  • Provide detailed analysis of CVRs and costs, reporting to central functions
  • Share best practices across regions and groups
  • Support regions on commercial processes and systems
  • Engage in cost analysis and assurance activities
  • Support onboarding and system integration in regions
  • Participate in monthly CVR meetings and provide challenge and support
  • Deliver assurance reports and risk analyses
  • Ensure compliance with group procedures and policies
  • Support COINS migration and regional benchmarking
  • Maintain communication with all stakeholders and address non-compliance issues
  • Travel across regions is essential for this role, primarily based within divisions.
