Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Group SHEQ Implementer to support development and implementation of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality systems across its operations. You will work with the Group SHEQ Development Manager to ensure compliance with ISO standards and drive continuous improvement.

The role includes audits, risk assessments, training delivery and site visits across multiple sites. A NEBOSH certificate, accredited qualification, IOSH membership and driving licence are

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
• An accredited training qualification.
• Membership of IOSH.
• A minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a SHEQ implementation, coordination or management role.
• Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
• Good understanding of ISO management systems and SHEQ legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive; regular travel to multiple sites.

Job description

Are you an experienced SHEQ professional looking for your next opportunity within an industrial or manufacturing environment? Chase Taylor are working on behalf of a well-established business looking to recruit a Group SHEQ Implementer to support the development and implementation of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) systems across its operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of SHEQ compliance, auditing and risk management who is passionate about improving workplace safety, maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

As Group SHEQ Implementer, you will work closely with the Group SHEQ Development Manager to implement and maintain SHEQ management systems, support compliance with relevant legislation and standards, and promote a positive health and safety culture across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of SHEQ management systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, workplace inspections and internal audits.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety, environmental and quality legislation.
• Delivering SHEQ training and promoting awareness of policies, procedures and safe working practices.
• Monitoring and reporting on SHEQ performance, incidents, accidents and near misses.
• Investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintaining accurate SHEQ documentation, records and compliance databases.
• Supporting internal and external audits, including ISO certification processes.
• Reviewing emergency response procedures, fire safety arrangements and workplace risk controls.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and helping to drive best practice across the business.
• Communicating SHEQ updates and working collaboratively with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
• Travelling to various sites to support the consistent implementation of SHEQ standards.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have experience in SHEQ implementation, auditing and compliance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Essential requirements

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
• An accredited training qualification.
• Membership of IOSH.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a SHEQ implementation, coordination or management role.
• Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
• A good understanding of ISO management systems and relevant SHEQ legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive, as regular travel to multiple sites is required.
