Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Group SHEQ Advisor to support the Group SHEQ Development Manager across multiple UK manufacturing sites. The role includes audits, delivering training, and implementing Group initiatives to maintain consistent safety, health, environmental and quality standards across the business.

The successful candidate will travel between sites in the Midlands, enjoy a degree of autonomy, and have opportunities for professional development and progression within the Group

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification required.
• Full UK driving licence and comfortable travelling regularly between UK sites.
• Experience in a SHEQ position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety, quality, environmental and management-system audits across multiple sites.
• Deliver SHEQ training and communicate new processes to site teams.
• Support the implementation of Group SHEQ systems, policies and procedures.
• Identify risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor corrective actions and ensure improvements are completed.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Job Title: Group SHEQ Advisor

Location: Midlands

Salary: Up to £45

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm

Job Role of the Group SHEQ Advisor

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Group SHEQ Advisor to join an established multi-site manufacturing group. This is a newly created development role supporting the Group SHEQ Development Manager with the implementation of safety, health, environmental and quality systems across several UK manufacturing businesses. The Group SHEQ Advisor will travel between sites to carry out audits, deliver training, implement Group initiatives and help operational teams maintain consistent SHEQ standards. The position offers plenty of autonomy, further professional development and the opportunity to progress into greater Group-level responsibility over time.

• NEBOSH Qualification
• Previous experience within a SHEQ position.
• Comfortable travelling regularly between UK sites

• Supporting the implementation of Group SHEQ systems, policies and procedures.
• Carrying out safety, quality, environmental and management-system audits.

• Monitoring corrective actions and ensuring improvements are completed.

• Maintaining accurate compliance, audit and training records.
• Working independently while building strong relationships across multiple sites.

Desirable Requirements for the Group SHEQ Advisor

• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environments
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 5
• SHEQ auditing experience.
• Training or facilitation experience.
• IOSH membership.
• Experience supporting multiple sites.
