Job summary

Xtrac, the world leader in high-performance transmission solutions, seeks a Group Senior Quality Engineer - Aerospace to own the aerospace quality framework and accreditation program across sites including Jois and Milton Keynes.

You will drive AS9100 Rev D and EN 9100:2018 compliance, support EASA/CAA/FAA approvals, and partner with Engineering and Operations to close gaps with credible timescales. Travel between the UK, Austria and USA will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing AS9100 Rev D or EN 9100:2018 in a global aerospace supply chain.
• Auditor qualification against AS9100/EN 9100 (AS9101 methodology) with aerospace auditing experience.
• Structured gap analysis against a standard with a credible closure plan.
• Delivery of change across multiple sites without direct line authority and coordination with certification bodies.
• Strong written communication to author procedures, determinations and audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead AS9100 Rev D and EN 9100:2018 gap assessments and drive certification programs.
• Produce a costed, resourced view of aerospace accreditation requirements for investment decisions.
• Assess applicability of EASA/CAA/FAA Part 21G and Part 21J and present recommendations.
• Support aerospace functional safety requirements and capture/retain safety evidence.
• Determine special processes requiring NADCAP or customer approvals and coordinate approvals.
• Support external aerospace audits and build internal auditor competence.
