The Sales Coordinator primarily supports the Assistant Director of Sales with new business group opportunities and sales activities, while assisting in the daily administration of the Hotels’ existing Corporate and MICE accounts.

Your responsibilities include supporting the Sales Team with guest inquiries, reservation requirements, and ensuring all guest account information is updated daily to provide an enjoyable experience from sales to post-departure, maintaining business continuity. You will also handle daily reservation entries in the system.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with an allocated portfolio, supporting the Assistant Director of Sales in maintaining and developing accounts to grow revenue.
  • Support the conversion of business groups and MICE from existing or potential clients by preparing contracts and related documents.
  • Respond to group requests as directed by your line manager.
  • Keep all objectives and activities for managed accounts up to date.
  • Ensure timely entry of group/reservation inquiries into the system.
  • Assist with group booking inquiries, providing prompt responses within 24 hours.
  • Handle other departmental issues related to groups, such as prepayment follow-up, routing, and vouchers.
  • Prepare group information sheets and brief involved parties prior to group arrival.
  • Participate in sales/marketing activities, including fam-trips, client hospitality, presentations, and promotional events; take minutes during meetings.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation, contracts, and account development plans on file.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s overall sales targets.
  • Promote good relations with PCOs, travel agents, airlines, and other organizations to solicit business.
  • Assist visitors and resolve guest issues professionally.
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs.
