GROUP REPORTING FINANCE MANAGER – 12 MONTH FTC
Central London | Hybrid
A leading listed business is looking to appoint a Group Reporting Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a senior and highly visible role within the Financial Reporting team, with responsibility for Group consolidation and external reporting as well as leadership of an established team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior finance stakeholders across the organisation and have broad exposure to Group Finance, Tax, Treasury and other corporate functions. Alongside the core reporting responsibilities, you will be involved in technical accounting, corporate transactions and a range of projects and ad hoc analysis.
Key responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting and Group reporting experience gained within a large or complex organisation. You will be comfortable owning consolidation and external reporting processes and dealing with complex accounting matters, ideally with experience of listed business reporting requirements.
You will need to be a confident people manager with the ability to lead and develop a team while remaining sufficiently hands-on when required. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as the position involves working with senior colleagues across finance and the wider organisation as well as external auditors and advisers. You will combine strong technical capability with commercial awareness and be comfortable moving between detailed accounting issues and the broader business picture. The ability to manage multiple priorities, work to demanding reporting deadlines and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely will be important. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known listed business in a senior Group Finance position, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders, complex reporting, corporate activity and the wider business.
