Job summary

British Land is recruiting a motivated, technically strong Group Reporting leader to head the Group Reporting team, owning the consolidation of the British Land Group and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts.

You will work closely with the Financial Reporting Management team, manage relationships with senior stakeholders, and drive timely financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ICAEW or equivalent.
• Experience leading group reporting and consolidation."
• Strong technical accounting skills and IFRS knowledge.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Reporting Team (5 accountants) and drive consolidation process.
• Own external reporting including statutory accounts and notes.
• Oversee quarterly management reporting and Underlying Profit analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support corporate transactions and technical accounting papers as required.
• Produce and present Group accounting papers for senior management.
