Job Title: Group FP&A and Reporting Accountant

Location: Wigmore Street, London + Hybrid Working Arrangements

The role

As a Group Reporting and Control Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our Group FP&A and Reporting team, driving the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This is a high-impact role where your insights will help shape strategic decisions across the business. You’ll be working in a dynamic environment that values precision, collaboration and continuous improvement, making a real difference to our corporate performance and your professional growth.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Preparing monthly Group Management Accounts by consolidating unit data in SAP BPC and updating adjustment journals
  • Collating and challenging variance analysis from sector teams and submitting financial reporting packs
  • Consolidating budget and forecast returns and processing adjustment journals
  • Supporting the creation of workbooks for budget and forecast collation and year-end reporting
  • Assisting in drafting Group Consolidated Financial Statements and supporting external audits

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with two to three days in the office/onsite.

Essential experience of the Group Reporting and Control Accountant:

  • Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience
  • Can engage with senior leadership and FP&A teams to communicate financial results
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS
  • Proficient in building and interpreting financial models to project company performance
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience of Finance IT applications (e.g. SAP BPC, Navision, IFS etc.)

Qualifications for the Group Reporting and Control Accountant:

  • Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
