Let’s start with the good stuff.
And it’s not just us saying it’s a great place to work.
We’ve been recognised as a Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2026 and 2025, with employee engagement scores 6% higher than the industry average. That means our people feel heard, supported and set up to succeed — and we work hard to keep it that way.
We’re looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team and take a leading role in how we manage financial reporting, accounting and tax compliance across the Group.
Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of the numbers — from group and statutory reporting through to management accounts, financial controls, tax compliance and audit. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with teams across the business, including Marketing, and help shape the way we do things as we continue to grow.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply crunch numbers and tick boxes. We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the business, challenge the detail, solve problems and use their financial expertise to make a real difference.
If you like pace, complexity and having a seat at the table, you’ll feel right at home.
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting across the Group, while helping us strengthen our processes, controls and compliance.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Finance, including Accounts Payable and restaurant-level Management Accounts, so being able to build strong relationships and communicate clearly will be just as important as getting the numbers right.
We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ICAS), ideally with experience gained in a Big 4 or other top-tier accounting firm environment.
Tax experience would be a real advantage, but it’s not essential.
Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, curiosity and ownership. You’ll want to understand how Burger King UK works, not just how the numbers add up — and you’ll be excited by the opportunity to make things better.
You’ll join a passionate and collaborative Finance team that’s helping Burger King UK scale for the future.
This is an opportunity to work across the Group, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and get involved in some of the more complex accounting, reporting and commercial challenges that come with a growing business.
And because we believe you should be able to Have It Your Way, you’ll have the opportunity to make your mark, challenge the way we do things and build processes that work better for our business.
