Job summary

Axon Moore is partnering with a high growth business to appoint a Group Project Accountant. This ACA/ACCA qualified role offers exposure beyond routine month-end work, including acquisitions, integration, and broader business transformation across the Group.

The successful applicant will act as a finance all-rounder, collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Operations and IT to drive practical improvements and robust controls, delivering tangible value for the organisation.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end reporting and preparation of financial information for Board meetings.
• Support the Group Financial Controller with maintenance and enhancement of financial controls across the Group.
• Standardise and develop Group-wide processes, reporting and best practice, focusing on acquisitions integration.
• Provide support across Group treasury activities, including payments and expenses.
• Assist with tax compliance and submissions (VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE, PSA, P11Ds).
• Monitor divisional compliance with accounting standards and Group policies.
• Assist with new accounting standards implementation and group-wide projects.
• Contribute to ad hoc finance and business improvement initiatives, including potential acquisitions and integration.
• Take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives across the Group.
