Job Title: Group Product Director

We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking, and inspirational Group Product Director to lead product creation at JG Travel Group, a respected multi-brand Tour Operator. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence our performance through 2026 and beyond.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop distinctive, high-margin products that uphold our brand heritage while attracting new customers in the silver traveller market. Success involves increasing our Average Selling Price (ASP), growing revenue and market share, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through efficient operations across both domestic and international markets.

The ideal candidate will be commercially minded with proven experience in driving growth via innovative product development, capable of identifying competitive advantages and translating them into features that enhance customer preference and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute product strategy and volume plans aligned with the overall Strategic Plan, focusing on revenue growth and ASP enhancement across all brands.
  • Lead and develop the Product and Operations teams to deliver high-performing products that position us as leaders in the silver traveller market.
  • Analyze competitor offerings, customer preferences, and emerging travel trends to identify growth opportunities.
Product Development
  • Create engaging, experiential, and distinctive itineraries across all brands to boost customer engagement and sales.
  • Review and refine existing products to ensure they meet customer needs and commercial objectives.
  • Expand our domestic and international product portfolio to offer competitive, high-margin travel experiences.
  • Conduct competitor analysis regularly to identify market gaps and differentiation opportunities.
Commercial Management
  • Ensure product contracting aligns with budget goals and negotiate favorable terms across all products.
  • Collaborate with Finance to report product costs accurately and timely, maintaining desired margins.
  • Work with the Commercial team to develop effective product briefs, including sales strategies and inventory management.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide data-driven recommendations to meet targets.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain efficient administration processes for transport, accommodation, and tours, ensuring high customer service levels.
  • Manage and oversee the Product Managers, Contracting, and Operational teams to optimize performance.
  • Ensure staff and contractors are equipped with necessary skills and tools to meet contractual and SLA requirements.
  • Utilize customer feedback to improve products and guide future development.
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Health & Safety standards across all operations.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive rates and quality service.
  • Implement standardized contracting to ensure consistency and favorable terms.
  • Promote the product vision internally and externally, enabling effective sales efforts.
  • Represent the company at trade events and industry networks to promote brands and explore opportunities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, with a solid background in service delivery, a focus on customer experience, and a drive for operational and process efficiencies.
