The Role

The Group Procurement & Optimisation Manager supports LME and its group companies by overseeing procurement activities and aiding the Head of Optimisation in driving efficiencies, cost savings, and strategic value.

Reporting to the Head of Optimisation, this role ensures effective procurement management, supports business integration, operational alignment, and supplier coordination across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement & Supply Chain Management (LME-Focused)
  • Manage end-to-end procurement for LME, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain supplier agreements, negotiate rates and SLAs.
  • Forecast procurement needs and monitor market trends and supplier performance.
  • Support procurement budgeting, reporting, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing.
  1. Supporting the Head of Optimisation & Wider Group Procurement
  • Identify group-wide procurement synergies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Facilitate procurement alignment and support onboarding of new businesses.
  • Drive process efficiencies and develop procurement KPIs.
  1. Stakeholder & Supplier Relationship Management
  • Act as primary procurement contact for LME and support wider group functions.
  • Build supplier relationships, negotiate agreements, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies and sustainability goals.

Required Experience

  • Proven procurement experience in events, sports, or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder skills.
  • Ability to support business integration and operational efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and compliance standards.
