We have two exciting opportunities for Permanent roles as the Family Support and Protection, and Children with Disabilities Group Manager.
This is for two posts:
Main purpose of the role: Children with Disabilities (CWD)
The CWD Group Manager has responsibility for the CWD Service, and oversight of the Team Managers within the service. The Group Manager has oversight of Disabled Children’s Outreach Service, Short breaks Co-Ordinator and the Family Link Service, and will hold responsibility for chairing funding panels across Health and Social Care. The individual will provide operational oversight and support to the SEND improvement board, and support key initiatives identified within the Improvement plan.
Main purpose of the role: Family Support and Child Protection (FSP)
The Group Manager for FSP will have the overarching responsibility of 5 teams which hold complex statutory cases. In addition, they will take on a strategic lead role in Frontline, implementation of the key thematic areas of the Children’s Social Care Improvement Plan such as neglect, harm outside the home and domestic abuse.
The roles and responsibility are outlined within the Job Description which is attached. You need to have at least five years experience as an operational team manager.
