Job description

Group Manager - Cambridge & Huntingdon

Aramark UK is seeking a driven Group Manager responsible for overseeing service delivery across 2 sites in Cambridge & Huntingdon. The Group Manager will work closely with Team Leaders, Chefs, and Kitchen Assistants to provide a balanced, nutritious range of fresh food and beverages to students and college staff daily.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Overall ownership and accountability for operational management and financial performance of the units.
  2. Work closely with the Head Chef to manage stock levels, implement waste management processes, and review production weekly.
  3. Champion excellent customer service and utilize marketing communication tools to build sales.
  4. Maintain RRP as per company policy and ensure tariffs meet client and company requirements.
  5. Implement schemes including new products, planograms, procedures, and menu specifications, adhering to Aramark guidelines and brand standards.
  6. Develop good relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and service levels for optimal financial return.
  7. Coordinate daily administrative tasks, inventories, and statistical reports accurately and timely.
  8. Ensure compliance with personnel policies, labour laws, and safety requirements.
  9. Use nominated suppliers and act as a purchasing officer and budget controller with team support.
  10. Prepare and manage projections for all P&L accounts including raw materials and wages.
