Aramark UK is seeking a driven Group Manager; you will be responsible for overseeing the service delivery across the City of Bristol College group. Across 4 campuses, the Group Manager will work closely with a team of Catering Managers, Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to provide a balanced, nutritious range of fresh food and beverage products to students and college staff daily. This is a role for someone who is passionate, knowledgeable, focuses on the student experience each day.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will support in various projects / plans whilst also creating a unique student experience where an enjoyable and inclusive experience is at the forefront of your daily responsibilities.

A day in the life of a Group Manager:
  • Take the lead and bring a fresh new approach
  • Identify sought after and profitable product lines with a goal of growing revenue year on year
  • Apply attention to detail ensuring the daily presentation of all service counters and POS are at the highest level
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team
  • Explore and introduce an innovative approach using technology and open to new ideas
  • Use encouraging and effective leadership methods to bring out the best in all team members
  • Actively engage with Clients and customers to deliver an exceptional service
  • Embrace feedback and use it as a tool to improve service
  • Maintain a strong H&S culture where safety of all team members is at the forefront of all activities
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
  • You will bring a real passion for change and proactively encouraging new and bold ideas, harnessing progressive thinking to drive transformation
  • You are a natural confident leader who exudes energy and charisma with excellent communication skills and have the management experience to inspire large operational teams to deliver results. The ability to manage a mixed portfolio of restaurants and business function
  • To have a strong positive passionate focus on food and a natural flare in catering
