A leading organisation in the Education sector is seeking an Interim Group Management Accountant for a 6–9 month contract in Oxford. This role involves preparing consolidated management accounts, supporting budgeting processes, and enhancing group reporting. The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with experience in complex environments, offering a chance to make a significant impact during a period of change.
Location: Oxford (Hybrid)
Rate: £325 - £375 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6–9 months

This is a key interim role supporting the Group Finance function through a period of change and transition. You’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely consolidated reporting, while also supporting the ongoing development of robust management information and controls.
Duties will include:
Preparing consolidated monthly management accounts for the group
Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple entities
Reviewing and analysing financial performance, providing insight to senior leadership
Collaborating with business units to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial submissions
Assisting with the development and improvement of group reporting and processes
Supporting the finance team during audit and year-end activity
Providing cover and guidance during systems or structural change
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a strong background in group reporting, ideally gained within a complex or multi-entity environment. You should be confident with Excel and have a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
