Job description
Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Group Liaison Manager to join our team at Elmbridge Court, Gloucester. This is a full-time, office-based role supporting the delivery of a range of government-funded training programmes across PDT Fleet Training and PDT Horizons.

Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester (Fully Office-Based)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Reporting to: Area Manager

Team Size: Managing a team of 3

Responsibilities
  • Line manage a team of 3, including Employment Advisors and Training Administrators
  • Oversee delivery of funded training programmes in HGV, Engineering, Manufacturing, and more
  • Support the onboarding and engagement of new employers
  • Lead and coordinate employer review meetings to track progress and identify needs
  • Collect and manage employer evidence for funding payment milestones
  • Monitor learner progress and support the delivery team to resolve any barriers
  • Ensure contracts are delivered in line with funding guidance and compliance requirements
  • Report to the Area Manager on performance, outcomes, risks, and improvements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal systems, processes, and learner experience
To be successful
  • Experience managing staff within a training or employment-related setting
  • Recruitment experience
  • Understanding of government-funded training contracts (e.g., Skills Bootcamps, etc.)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience collecting and managing compliance or audit-related evidence
  • Self-motivated with good time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge or experience in the HGV, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors
  • Experience working for or with training providers
  • Familiarity with CRM and learner management systems
  • Experience in employer engagement or business development within vocational training
