About the role

Benefact Group is looking for a Group Learning Consultant to join our Gloucester office on a fixed-term contract.

The Group Learning Consultant will manage the planning and delivery of behavioural, business skills, and line manager development for colleagues across the Group, working with business colleagues and Group L&D consultants to identify needs, source solutions, design, and deliver appropriate interventions across various learning methods and media.

Key responsibilities
  • Behavioural and Business Skills Development
  • Conduct development needs analysis to identify needs across key stakeholders and design interventions that meet business needs and close skill gaps.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate online learning programmes informed by business needs, embedding the 70:20:10 model of learning.
  • Design and deliver virtual and face-to-face learning sessions on behavioural and business skills for colleagues across the Group.
  • Ensure all materials are up-to-date and aligned with the Group’s strategic goals.
  • Manage the journey ensuring new people leaders participate in the programme.
  • Deliver People Leaders Induction sessions as planned, ensuring sufficient coverage for new leaders.
  • Deliver core sessions of the People Leaders Journey programme, such as Having Great Development and Performance Conversations, Confident Communications, and Challenging Conversations.
Learning Management System
  • Manage design and content of the learning management system, focusing on Behaviours, Business Skills, and People Leaders Journey.
  • Oversee the administration of courses related to these areas.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and publish bespoke solutions for development needs.
  • Ensure the system reflects the full learning offering and MI data is accurate.
Corporate Induction
  • Support the delivery of corporate induction, ensuring content is relevant, current, and engaging for new joiners.
  • Facilitate inductions alongside the Group L&D Advisor and specialists.
360 Feedback System Project
  • Research and identify potential suppliers to replace the current 360 online system.
  • Manage the implementation process after approval.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in needs analysis and programme planning.
  • Experience managing external partners and suppliers.
  • E-learning design and delivery experience.
  • Experience working with and developing content for a Learning Management System.
  • Facilitation skills for virtual and face-to-face sessions.
  • Experience in learning programme design and delivery.
  • Supplier sourcing and management experience.
  • Ability to develop best practices and ensure adherence.
  • Budget management skills.
