Job Description Title: Group Leader - Nuclear Technology

Salary range: £75,000 - £95,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

Location: Bristol

Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

Closing date: Midday 1st October 2025

The Nuclear Technology Group are a highly skilled team supporting the nuclear industry with analytical expertise. Key skills are fluids and heat transfer, the physics of nuclear reactors, modelling of fault/accident progression and radiological consequences. As nuclear professionals the team understand the special significance of their work and their obligation to deliver to the very highest quality standards.

We are now looking for a new Group Leader. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience and have a vision for the future growth of the group. This will need to include developing the group\'s current activities, whilst identifying and maturing new business streams. They will be someone who can build on current success by growing the group headcount and widening its customer base. Relevant technical experience would be a strong advantage but is not essential. The group is mainly based in Bristol so a local candidate would be .

What We\'re Looking For
  • Degree level qualified in a relevant academic area.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering analysis work in the nuclear industry.
  • An understanding of the special nature of nuclear technology, the regulatory and legal underpinnings of the industry and the consequent obligations on Nuclear Professionals
  • Experience of developing new clients
  • Experience of developing solutions for customers and delivering subsequent programmes of work to customer satisfaction, schedule and budget.
  • A track record of effective leadership
