Job Description

The Asset Management function within Altrad Babcock is a highly specialised engineering service and equipment provider supporting our customers to minimise cost, maximise return and mitigate risk through their asset’s integrity lifecycle.

We currently have an opportunity to join our NDT team based in Renfrew in a senior role.

We have a proven track record developing, qualifying and delivering technologically advanced inspection solutions to our customers in the nuclear and adjacent energy sectors with key focus on the following.

· Pre & In-service automated NDT inspections.

· Specialised NDT solutions.

· Remote Operations

As our new Group Leader, you will lead the Automated NDT delivery team with a focus on line management and resourcing of the team while delivering projects at base and occasionally on site.

If you are a people person, with business savvy underpinned by legacy knowledge in NDT, the energy industry and associated technologies then this is the role for you. Experience in automated NDT is key. You’ll need to be prepared to be security cleared to facilitate working on nuclear power plants in the UK and elsewhere as required.

With a proven record working in a similar role, you will provide coaching and guidance to support the development and training of the team and will support the on-boarding of new staff as we grow our team to meet the needs of the future. Being educated to degree level is beneficial.

Safety and Quality are always key drivers, and you will have the ability to work in a safe proactive manner, complying with and actively contributing to the company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies, manuals, and procedures always considering the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, visitors, and clients.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
