Based on the strong results delivered, we are embarking on a new chapter in our Procurement evolution. Over the past 18 months, we have established a new operating model within procurement, and we are currently seeking a talented Group Indirects Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in this transformation, undertaken collaboratively with divisions as One Procurement Community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strategy for categories in your ownership, including optimizing prices, demand, and technical aspects.
• Source several Indirect categories at a group level.
• Understand your categories and relevant market movements in-depth - be considered a subject matter expert by the divisions.
• Collaborate closely with Divisional stakeholders to maximize value created.
• Generate and deliver significant productivity savings opportunities.
• Ensure adequate legal agreements are in place to protect the Business.
• Lead the supplier awards and commercial terms decision process (in line with Delegation of Authority).
• Manage relationships with suppliers and perform Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for Group Indirect categories.
• Lead supplier innovation and continuous improvement activities for your categories.
• Ensure a strong risk management process for a portfolio of indirect categories to protect the business.

Key outcomes within first 12 months:

• Build knowledge of your categories and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Establish category plans for your categories.
• Deliver several category strategies.
• Complete several sourcing events to achieve in-year savings targets.

Outcomes beyond 12 months:

• Develop an overarching category plan covering a portfolio of categories that reduces supply chain risk, improves value, and enhances business outcomes.
• Develop and implement a long-term value delivery plan.
• Identify and deliver process improvements to advance the department.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing of Indirect categories such as FM, marketing, operational support, corporate services, and MRO.
• Knowledge and experience of best-in-class category management and sourcing practices from reputable companies.

Ideally, you will have broad exposure and experience across indirect categories, be comfortable working with complex stakeholders, and have a strong background in procurement, risk, and supplier management. Experience in a PE-owned organization is desirable.
