Job summary

A leading aviation services provider is seeking a Senior HR Partner to manage people matters across the UK and Europe. You will support local leadership in employment relations, enhance well-being initiatives, and drive operational excellence in HR. The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales environment and hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification. Additional benefits include holiday entitlement, private healthcare, and on-site amenities.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to be the expert in people matters across the UK and Europe (Almaty, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, France & Germany). You’ll be the go-to person for all people-related matters, ensuring that our culture continues to thrive while also driving operational excellence in HR.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage employment relations matters within the scope of local employment legislation in collaboration with local senior leadership.
  • Provide coaching to line managers and board directors on people-related matters.
  • Attend local board meetings as required to represent HR.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives within the region, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately to provide employees with the necessary support.
  • Manage the application and renewal of work permits and visas.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide an executive summary of key trends and recommendations.
  • Support change management processes, such as during TUPE transfers.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, e.g., on recruitment.
  • Participate actively in the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Lead ad hoc projects that may be region-specific or have a global impact.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the value provided by HR to the business.
  • Deputise for the HR Director in her absence.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience as a senior HR partner within a sales organization.
  • Experience with European employment law, including Working Time regulations, is advantageous.
  • Possession of CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to stay updated on employment law changes and trends.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
