What you'll be doing

• Conducting health & safety inspections and site walk-rounds
• Developing and updating toolbox talks, procedures, policies, and safe systems of work
• Leading emergency evacuation drills and COSHH arrangements
• Managing first aid and DSE systems
• Tracking and reporting on H&S KPIs and accident/near miss data
• Completing risk assessments and leading audits for continuous improvement
• Driving improvements in health & safety systems

What we're looking for

• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (preferred but not essential)
• A NEBOSH qualification (minimum)
• Proven experience in a management role within health and safety
• Strong knowledge of H&S processes
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• A full UK driving license
