Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager - UK Wide

Ideally based in Midlands / Northamptonshire, as the largest site is in Corby

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum + 15–20% bonus and a company car scheme worth circa £7,000 (plus additional benefits).

  • The most senior role for Health, Safety, and Environment in the UK within this global organization; responsible for developing and coaching one direct report.
  • Health and safety are paramount, already ingrained to a high standard across all sites. Managed centrally, driven and supported from the top, fostering a culture of accountability, with a journey towards world-class safety and interdependency.
  • Offers a balanced mix of operational and strategic responsibilities, requiring visible leadership to support the sites effectively.
  • Design, deploy, manage, and monitor the HS&E program across the business, driving cultural engagement.
  • While guided by corporate, you will have full creative control to develop the HSE strategy for the sites, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous progress towards being future-ready.
  • Lead major upcoming projects and programs.

  • A hands-on, genuine, and visible leader credible at all levels
  • Lead by example, gain buy-in, and empower sites to take ownership of HSE.

Qualifications and experience:

  • NEBOSH Certificate or ideally Diploma (or equivalent), with experience managing multiple sites in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (e.g., chemical, fermentation, agricultural, food, beverage, paper, packaging, recycling, manufacturing, bakery, dairy, tobacco, machinery, textiles, ingredients).
