Group Health and Safety Manager

Location: Hampshire  –  £60–70k

Position: Permanent

Daniel Owen is currently recruiting an experienced Group Health and Safety Manager with diverse social housing project knowledge to join an established contractor in the Barnet area.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to review and develop health and safety practices across the planned maintenance division.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards
• Coordinate with colleagues, clients, and principal designers
• Report to the Business Manager daily
• Motivate and mentor staff members
• Experience working within a social housing contractor is essential
• Negotiate issues, and plan, prioritize, and organize workload efficiently
• Must be able to work at heights
• Manage health and safety communication with key stakeholders, including:
  • Health and Safety professionals within councils, social housing, and contractor environments
  • HSE
  • Internal and external auditors
  • Emergency Planning and Business Continuity Officers
  • Risk Management Officers
