Our People team is seeking their next Group Head of People Systems to join our team in London (Hybrid).

In this position you will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of global People Systems, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors. It ensures alignment with business goals, enhances the colleague experience, and drives efficiency and compliance across all regions. The role plays a key part in the People Leadership team, collaborating with Digital, Finance, and regional People teams to deliver the systems roadmap and integrate adjacent technologies. It also oversees the People Data and Analytics strategy, improving data quality and insights, while managing and developing a global team of system experts. Additionally, the role includes oversight of Group payroll and acts as a key point of escalation.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and optimise SAP SuccessFactors (all key modules) and Qualtrics, ensuring smooth performance and regular improvements in collaboration with Global Process Owners.
  • Drive system adoption and change, standardising use across regions and supporting new technology rollouts effectively.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global People Systems team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Partner with People teams to identify needs, reduce manual processes, and recommend automation and system improvements.
  • Lead system upgrades and process enhancements, using the SuccessFactors roadmap and new release opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance and governance, aligning with global regulations like GDPR, managing audits, and acting as the key escalation point.
  • Oversee related systems like UK payroll (Cintra IQ), manage vendor contracts, and ensure strong relationships with SAP and partners.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Confident working with senior and technical stakeholders globally, offering strategic advice and influencing decisions with strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Experienced in managing multiple high-priority projects at once, delivering clear outcomes aligned to People strategy.
  • Hands-on in leading and improving global People systems, with a focus on planning, data, analysis, and process optimisation.
  • Knowledgeable in SuccessFactors or a similar global People system, with a solid grasp of system architecture.
  • Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach.
  • A strategic thinker, aligning People technology plans with wider business goals.
  • A strong people leader, creating a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.
