Head of Technology Strategy, Delivery & Innovation

About the role
As a global leader in K–12 education with over 100 schools across 17 countries, Cognita aims to leverage technology to revolutionize teaching and learning. Historically, education technology decisions have been made at regional, country, and school levels, leading to a fragmented landscape. This role provides strategic leadership in education technology solutions, defining a cohesive strategy, driving implementation, governance, and fostering innovation, focusing on delivery, integration, and management of EdTech solutions.

Your key accountabilities

1. Strategy: Review the EdTech landscape, develop a future-focused strategy aligned with global and local objectives, lead the implementation of a standard blueprint, and collaborate with Digital Learning teams.
2. Delivery: Lead multi-region EdTech projects, oversee governance and stakeholder engagement, ensure successful implementation, and monitor program effectiveness.
3. Innovation: Develop a technology innovation agenda, especially around AI, launch pilot programs, establish KPIs, and promote best practices.
4. Governance: Design governance frameworks, build relationships with leaders, define policies, and ensure compliance and risk management.

Who we are looking for
A strategic and visionary leader with a proven track record in large-scale transformation, stakeholder engagement, and broad technical knowledge. Qualifications include a degree in a relevant field, with experience in technology strategy, innovation, and preferably in education or EdTech sectors. The candidate should demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar

Experience

• Experience in shaping and implementing large-scale technology strategies and transformation programs
• Experience in global or multicultural organizations
• Success in delivering complex programs with strong governance
• Track record in driving innovation with emerging technologies
