Job summary

Outcomes First Group in Manchester is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst (Reporting & Insights) to join the central Group Finance team. You will translate complex performance data into clear narratives for Executive Leadership, the Board, and Investors, driving reporting excellence through dashboards and financial storytelling.

You will lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly packs, automate insights, and partner with BI to elevate visualization standards while supporting budgeting and forecasting with

Qualifications

  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or performance analysis in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (large data set manipulation) and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven track record in monthly reporting pack creation with clear written commentary.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication—translating data into engaging narratives for leadership.
  • Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or actively studying/part-qualified is advantageous.
  • Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or reporting automation tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly Group reporting packs, identifying key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into high-quality PowerPoint presentations and concise commentary for Finance Leadership, Board, and Investor stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on Group KPIs, ensuring consistency across regional finance teams and operational units.
  • Enhance Group reporting packs, scorecards, and visual dashboards to highlight critical business trends.
  • Partner with BI teams to automate data accessibility and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Elevate visualization standards so insights align with strategic priorities.
  • Act as a bridge across Finance, BI, and operational teams to foster strong relationships.
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial modeling across the Group FP&A team.
  • Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis to answer critical business questions as the Group expands.

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working 1-2 days in the office)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are looking for a story-driven Group FP&A Analyst (Reporting & Insights) to join our central Group Finance team in Manchester.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting, Insights & Financial Storytelling
  • Lead the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly Group reporting packs, identifying key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into high-quality PowerPoint presentations and concise commentary for Finance Leadership, Board, and Investor stakeholders.

Reporting Development & Automation
  • Enhance Group reporting packs, scorecards, and visual dashboards to highlight critical business trends.
  • Partner closely with Business Intelligence teams to automate data accessibility and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Continuously elevate visualization standards so insights remain tightly aligned with strategic priorities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Planning
  • Act as a key bridge across Finance, BI, and operational teams to foster strong working relationships.
  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and financial modeling across the wider Group FP&A team.
  • Deliver ad-hoc commercial analysis to answer critical business questions as the Group expands.
About You

You are an analytical finance professional who excels at finding the "story behind the numbers" and visualising data clearly for non-finance leaders.

You’ll Have:
  • Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting, or performance analysis within a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (large dataset manipulation, analysis) and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven track record in monthly reporting pack creation and clear, written financial commentary.
  • Exceptional stakeholder communication—confident translating data into engaging narratives for leadership.
