As the Group Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Compile annual year-end trial balances and comprehensive business plans.
- Establish and maintain procedures that ensure accounting control and minimise working capital.
- Safeguard the Group’s assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Implementation and maintenance of strong financial controls.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Cash and working capital management and cash forecasting.
- Monthly Group accounts consolidation.
- Balance Sheet Maintenance.
- Monthly VAT checks and preparation of quarterly submission.
- Annual budgeting.
- Undertake internal audit exercises and support preparation of year end accounts.
- Preparation of weekly Group KPI Analysis for weekly senior management meetings.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc projects.

To be considered for the role of Group Financial Controller:
- Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Proven experience of managing a Finance Team.
- Good understanding of KPI’s and able to interpret management accounts to identify areas of improvement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience within the Automotive sector is preferred but not essential.
