SF Executive are partnered with a highly successful company based in Warwickshire who are seeking a Group Financial Controller.
The Group Financial Controller will actively lead the head office finance function which includes consolidation, reporting, transactions, technical accounting support, treasury, audit and tax.
Deliverables
Technical lead for the group, and the 'go-to' person for accounting advice
Audit lead for group, taking responsibility for controlling and delivering a clean audit, on time and without issue
Lead the group consolidation to culminate in an accurate, timely and meaningful reporting pack
Drive efficiency and cost savings within the finance team and wider business through automation projects
Manage banking relationships
Create insightful management information for central head-office cost function
Providing financial / decision support to CFO
Profile
Strong technical finance and accounting experience, likely to be big 4 trained
Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with a strong academic record
Group consolidation experience
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the balance between technical financial accounting and the commercial world
Good IT skills, experience with SAP B1 would be an advantage.
Demonstrable experience of an understanding of privately-owned businesses

This role is located within Warwickshire and will require the successful individual to be based on site 5 days per week (with an adult approach to flexibility).
