Michael Page is recruiting for a Group Financial Analyst in the Wokingham area. The role focuses on group reporting and targeted analysis to support smooth business operations and informed decision making.

Responsibilities include month-end reporting, international subsidiary analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and collaboration with finance and operational teams to improve reporting quality and drive efficiencies. A permanent position with a salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA and ACCA accountants.
• Full UK right to work.
• First or second time mover from practice.
• Able to commute to Wokingham area five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end reporting cycle with accurate financial reporting across the group.
• Collect and analyse information from international subsidiaries with variance and trend analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including Ireland reporting pack.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business planning, including cash flow and covenant analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve reporting quality and provide commercial insight.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and drive efficiencies across the group.
• Support statutory reporting and maintain robust controls and audit trails.
• Assist with technical accounting matters and ad hoc analyses for the wider finance leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the group.
• Collect and analyse financial information from international subsidiaries, providing variance and trend analysis on key performance areas.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including preparation of the Ireland reporting pack.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities, including cash flow, inventory and debt covenant analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams to improve reporting quality and provide commercial insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and drive operational efficiencies across the group.
• Support statutory reporting requirements and maintain robust financial controls, documentation and audit trails.
• Assist with technical accounting matters and ad hoc analysis projects for the wider finance leadership team.

Profile

Qualified ACA, ACCA accountant.

Full UK right to work

First or second time mover form practice.

Be able to commute to Wokingham area 5 days a week.

Job Offer
