Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in the UK is partnering with a fast-growing private equity–backed business seeking a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). The role involves both UK and group-level responsibilities, technical reporting, and commercial exposure. Candidates should have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, with clear progression opportunities offered as the finance team scales.

Qualifications

• Trained in practice or industry, ideally with some consolidation exposure.
• Confident reviewing work prepared by others.
• Ambitious and comfortable in a varied role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing UK VAT returns.
• Supporting monthly group consolidation across multiple entities.
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the offshore team.
• Assisting with preparation of monthly and quarterly investor reporting packs.
• Liaising with advisors on UK corporation tax computations.
• Contributing to finance projects such as system changes and process improvements.
