Job summary

myenergi Ltd. seeks a Group Financial Accountant & Compliance Manager to lead statutory reporting, consolidation, treasury and tax compliance. You will ensure robust financial governance, manage audits, support board reporting, and drive process improvements across the group.

Role requires ACA/ACCA or equivalent, strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge, and experience with group consolidations and intercompany work. Based at our UK offices with strategic cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual group consolidations across all entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP/FRS101.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Support board reporting, budgets and forecasts.
• Own group cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Coordinate corporation tax, R&D and other tax submissions with external advisers.
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and audit deliverables.
• Line management of the Payroll Administrator and support CFO.

The Group Financial Accountant & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the Group's statutory reporting, consolidation, treasury, tax compliance and financial governance activities. The role ensures robust financial control across the organisation, manages relationships with external auditors and advisors, supports strategic decision making through accurate group reporting, and drives continuous improvement in financial processes, controls and compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Lead monthly and annual group consolidations across all entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP/FRS101.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Support board reporting, budgets and forecasts.

Treasury & Cash Management

• Own group cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Manage foreign exchange activities and forward contracts.
• Administer banking platforms and support funding covenant reporting.
• Review and approve payment processes and controls.

Tax & Compliance

• Coordinate corporation tax, R&D and other tax submissions with external advisers.
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain strong internal control and audit frameworks.
• Oversee key payroll compliance activities and annual statutory submissions.

Audit & Governance

• Primary contact for group and component auditors.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and audit deliverables.
• Support stocktake and financial control reviews.
• Drive process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives across the group.

Leadership & Business Support

• Line management of the Payroll Administrator.
• Support CFO and senior leadership with analysis and financial insights.
• Manage key finance systems and external stakeholder relationships.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement programmes.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent accountant.
