Job description

We are seeking a Temporary Group Financial Accountant to support an organisation whilst they go through their year end and some significant organisation changes.

Client Details

My client has a nationwide presence with one of their larger offices located in Solihull

Description

  • Preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Liaising with the auditors
  • Driving the year end
  • Creation of the financial statements
  • Consolidation of the group accounts
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Perform financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Assist with audits and taxes.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.

Profile

A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong technical finance skills
  • Previous consolidation experience and exposure to FRS 101 and 102
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Advanced understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Job Offer

  • Six month interim role
  • £350 - 450 a day
